We want this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. That covers things such as readable text and sensible contrast, content that works when navigated by keyboard, meaningful headings and link text, text alternatives for images, and layouts that adapt to different screen sizes and zoom levels.
Accessibility is not a one-off task. We review the site as it changes and fix issues as we find them.
We are aware that some parts of the site may not yet fully meet the standard we aim for. Areas we keep under review include image alternative text, colour contrast in some interface elements, and any third-party content embedded in the site, which we do not control directly.
